Diary of a Resurrectionist, Monday 30th December 1811

Monday 30th
Butler and Dan’l took 1 large to Framton, large small to Hornig.

Took one of the subjects on hand to Frampton and one large small to Hornig.

Frampton is last mentioned on December 6th. Hornig (or Harnig or Harnige) is also last mentioned on that date, but only on the manuscript itself, as a crossed out name. Hornig is unidentified at this point, but is a demonstrator at St Thomas’ Hospital. He will later be identified as such.

This is one of the entries which can be used to argue that Butler and Dan’l are not the same person.

About theresurrectionists

My name is Kirsty Chilton. I am a Medical Historian working in London and relentlessly searching for the body snatchers of 18th and 19th century London. Currently, the content of this blog is a personal project to repost and comment on the diary of 19th century Resurrectionist Joseph Naples 200 years from the time it was written.
